La Habana - A City of Contrasts

December 2025

Havana exists in a state of beautiful contradiction—where vibrant creativity flourishes amid crumbling infrastructure, where classic American cars glide past colonial architecture slowly surrendering to time, and where the resilient spirit of daily life persists through ongoing crisis.

This collection captures the multifaceted reality of contemporary Cuba through intimate glimpses into artists' studios, the weathered elegance of decaying buildings, and the unguarded moments of everyday existence. From the ritual of cigar and rum culture to the animals navigating trash-lined streets, these images document a city and its people caught between preservation and deterioration, tradition and survival, beauty and hardship.

La Habana is a visual testimony to resilience—a portrait of a place where art, history, and humanity endure despite everything working against them.
